i love my job

no really. i work with the best people on the planet.

it has nothing to do with the amount of free alcohol we can consume. nor does it have anything to do with those in charge telling me to 'take a long lunch, and come back drunk or stoned'

i have the most amazing workplace ever invented and i am so glad i chose chicago and ______ ____ to work for. those who know me personally know where i work and the rest of you can just wonder..

advertising feels soulless at times but where i am is unlike anywhere else i have ever worked in my 10 year film industry career...

what an amazing christmas party. what an amazing set of folks to be around for 8 / 10 / 15 hours a day...

RIP Canon PowerShot S70

I loved you so. I didn't know you long but you gave me 10,000 photos of this fine world at a stunning 7.1 megapixel resolution. To fix you would cost almost as much as a brand new camera... so I bid you farewell my friend, my companion to Chicago, London, Cardiff, Liverpool, Dublin, Amsterdam, Washington DC, Boston, Cleveland, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Montreal, San Francisco and probably more I can't think of right now...

This is by no means a best of, but it's what I have online since the server crash took out most of my website, I still haven't gotten many old pics back online. Stay tuned for a real BEST OF...

Chicago Winter Number 1

Well this day marks my first true winter day as a Chicago resident. I am used to the cold and it will actually be a bit more mild here than it was in Detroit and Grand Rapids.

However now I don't drive, the bus driver does all the steering for me, so its really not that bad.

Out on my balcony (fire escape) I snapped these photos this morning.
