Facebook Phonebook Export
Holy crap. I think I just found what I have scoured the internet for and it was readily available the whole time.
Exporting contacts from Facebook to elsewhere.
Sure iPhone users have it real easy, right in the iPhone app you can sync your address book to your Facebook Phonebook, but what about the rest of us.
I downloaded Greasemonkey for the Facebook Phonebook Export tool, but I found it too late, it stopped working many months ago when Facebook changed the markup of facebook.com/friends
There was another Greasemonkey script called AddressBooker by Brad from Livejournal, but that didn't work for me either. [Brad @ LJ]
Then I tried the next easiest solution, going to Yahoo! mail contacts at http://address.yahoo.com and choosing import from facebook. Didn't work for me.
Now I just found this right on Facebook under Account Settings
https://register.facebook.com/download/?h=4141de1c8e06d24af61dcdf71b359538
It's creating a ZIP for me now. Not just my contacts but photos, wall posts, everything. Should take a while but I think this is gonna get me what I want, a CSV of my friends on facebook so I can restore missing people to my Mac OSX Address Book that I lost in a database corruption.
Short URL to get here: http://bit.ly/ExportFacebookContacts

As much as midtown Manhattan annoys me, there is nothing like walking out of a slick animation studio, blocks from the Empire State Building, sitting down and watching the clouds kiss the antenna in the night sky.

Just before interview #2 started I made fun of the owner of the company, minutes before finding out who he was. The staff approves.
